When I first came to a cookout with my now husband's family, I got to the macaroni salad and went, are there pickles in here?? Though I had never had pickles in a macaroni salad before, I'm definitely a fan of them now!
When we started carrying our Dill Pickle White Balsamic, we knew that we wanted to do a twist on his family's macaroni salad recipe. The Dill Pickle White Balsamic enhances that dill pickle flavor but adds just a little touch of sweetness! Like many of our other salads, this one can be made ahead for a party.
- 1 16oz box elbow macaroni
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 4 plum tomatoes, chopped (about 1 1/4 cups)
- 1 16 oz jar dill pickles, chopped (about 1 1/4 cups)
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons Dill Pickle White Balsamic Vinegar
Cook macaroni according to package directions in salted boiling water - drain and pour into a large bowl.
While the macaroni is cooking, mix the mayo, Dill Pickle White Balsamic, salt, tomatoes and pickles in a small bowl.
Pour the sauce/tomato mixture over the cooked macaroni and stir gently to mix all ingredients together. Refrigerate until ready to use.
